In order to educate future managers and specialists in the field of business studies, Faculty of Business Studies was established in 2015-16 academic session. FBS Started its journey with only one department, the department of accounting and information system along with 40 students.

BWT made a milestone in this year. We had a simple ambition – to be brilliant at helping firms to build and develop excellent websites through big ideas, not big budgets. By 2015, we surpassed 5,000 customers. The small office in Bangladesh couldn’t hold a crowd that big as we had client base all over the world, it was difficult to provide support services through online methods seating in one place. So, we decided to introduce a second office in India and a third one in Philippines.

BWT was awarded with various prestigious recognition. During this time, a famous web developer, Mr. Donald Ruttama joined our team as adviser. A community was growing around the company. We were continually focusing on finding ways to support our community and participated in several philanthropic activities throughout that year.

THE DRIVE TO HELP SMALL AND MEDIUM BUSINESS DO MORE BUSINESS

The mission was to empower small and medium enterprises to grow. In 2017, we reached all new milestones: lots of global brands joined us as client and we got some prestigious award for smart activities. To support our continually growing customer base, we set up a customer care section, added online chat, email, and direct phone support.

We’ve developed a multi-skilled team that includes people from every discipline, including: web analysts, web development experts, e-commerce expert, technology geeks, web designer and content writer. All of them are good people, who genuinely care and go above and beyond every day, every week, every month. Moreover, we are technology lovers, using future technologies in today’s business.

2018

The Department of Marketing launched its journey in the academic session of 2018-2019 with the enrollment of 32 students. It is located on the western side of the 5th floor of the Michael Modhusudan Dutt Library Cum Academic Building of JUST. It offers Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with major in Marketing.
